Please note. I am not an expert on diving in general nor diving in Cornwall in particular, merely a BSAC advanced diver who is lucky enough to live and dive in this magnificent part of the world and who has the ability (and inclination) to produce a web site. For safety and legal reasons I have deliberately tried not to included information that is essential to detailed dive planning (e.g. times of slack water, direction of current etc.). This site is designed to give you enough information to decide whether you'd like to try the dive. The detailed planning must be up to you. There are places where I have included warnings and to the best of my knowledge that information is correct (but remember I am no expert). The lack of any warning does not indicate that there aren't risks associated with the dive. Diving is by its very nature a hazardous sport. The information given in this site is, to the best of my knowledge, correct. However, the information given in this site (or any other) should not be relied upon for dive planning and safety purposes. Always double check for yourself. Finally, the author(s)/owner(s) will not accept liability for any consequences associated with the use or misuse of information contained on this site. You use the information contained in this site entirely at your own risk. If you require further information to assist you in dive planning I suggest you contact one of following:
Further information can also be obtained from Falmouth coastguard on 01326 317575. Or you can contact me via e-mail and I will give what help I can. Right, that's the legal stuff out of the way I do hope you'll
find the site useful and have as much pleasure as I've had diving
in Cornwall! |
